ATLANTIS
There has over the years been numerous stories of Atlantis numerous folk claiming its here there and everywhere, Me personally i believe it is exactly where plato describes it to be? Plato states "there was an island situated in front of the straits which are by you called the Pillars of Heracles" the pillars of Heracles are now what we call the Gibralter straight Plato describes a large landmass just through the straights of Gibralter
The images below taken from Google maps i believe to be the sunken landmass that Plato was referring to as Atlantis.
As you can see through the pillars of Heracles there is a sunken landmass that bears the marks of techtonic scarring running from the north to south west , Plato describes how Atlantis was destroyed by Earthquakes and floods and how it sank into the ocean now i'm no geologist but a crack that size running through your land is bound to sink and flood it compare this landmass to Spain and they are roughly the same size now imagine a techtonic split running through the country and what the consequences could be to Spain?
Mundus Subterraneus includes several pages about the legendary island of Atlantis including a map with the Latin caption "Situs Insulae Atlantidis, a Mari olim absorpte ex mente Egyptiorum et Platonis descriptio." translating as "Site of the island of Atlantis, in the sea, from Egyptian sources and Plato's description the Mundus Subterraneus was written by Athanasius Kircher was a 17th-century German Jesuit scholar and polymath who published around 40 major works, most notably in the fields of comparative religion, geology, and medicine. Kircher has been compared to fellow Jesuit Roger Boscovich and to Leonardo da Vinci for his enormous range of interests, and has been honored with the title "Master of a Hundred Arts"
I find it rather odd that we have a Map of Atlantis created by a 17th Century priest who liked to study Egyptology shaped similar to a landmass in more or less the same location on a satellite image from 2015.
